Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

Let’s face it… being a human can be really hard sometimes. Life is filled with ups and downs, and extra support can be so helpful during the difficult times. I assume that you’ve found your way here because you're struggling with something- your mood, a relationship, a loss, a change in your life that’s been hard to adjust to, feelings of guilt or shame, loneliness, or perhaps your sense of self-worth or identity. Maybe you’ve been feeling this way for a while and hoped things would get better on their own, but you’re feeling stuck and wondering if it might be helpful to talk to someone. Whether your pain is old or new, transient or ongoing, please know that there is hope. You won’t always feel the way you’re feeling right now; with support, you can get to the other side of this.

Over the past 18 years, I have worked with individuals struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions (e.g., college, young adulthood, divorce, breakups, job loss, a move, becoming a parent), grief, family/relationship challenges, low self-esteem, and identity concerns. I also work with clients who identify with being a perfectionist, people-pleaser, or highly sensitive person.  I have specialized training in prenatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, and work with many women during pregnancy, postpartum and throughout the adjustment to parenthood, as well as those struggling with infertility and pregnancy loss. My work with clients is individualized based on each person’s unique needs and personal goals, but always includes warmth, respect, and compassion— never judgment. My therapeutic approach is strength-based, supportive, insight-oriented, and cognitive behavioral.

It takes courage and strength to acknowledge that the status quo isn’t working and to reach out for support. I am committed to providing you with a nurturing space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain support and insight, and learn skills to help you heal, grow, and feel your best. I encourage you to take a look around, and if you feel that I may be a good fit for you, I would love to hear from you!
